Sunday School
Provides a "Second Family"
MPC member, Charlotte Shaw, shares what her Sunday School class means to her:
“Since childhood and into my 86th year, I have been in a Sunday class with none more meaningful than the present Spiritual Formation class that I attend at Memorial. Through exploring various authors and writings of which I wouldn’t otherwise have been introduced, God has taught me about Himself and about myself; He has nurtured me and nourished my soul; He has shown me how to love Him in a deeper way and love my neighbor in new ways. If that isn’t enough, the group of fellow MPC members I meet with every Sunday morning has become a second family to me. We enjoy one another, care about one another, and pray for one another! Thanks be to God, our Father!”
At Memorial, we care about digging into scripture, theology, and prayer in order to grow in our Christian discipleship. In a growing church, it can help to be a part of a smaller community within the bigger community. Sunday School classes offer a place to grow and to connect.
Connect with God. Connect with other people on the journey.
Please feel free to visit any Sunday School class–they meet on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am and there are hybrid options for people who want to participate from home.

“Encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” I Thessalonians 5:11
It is our prayer at Memorial that we will encourage each other in hope and in faith—and Sunday School is a great place to experience that encouragement!
