Jesus said, “I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me. Truly I tell you just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.”

Jesus said the most important things in life are to love God with all of our heart, soul, and mind; and to love our neighbor as we love ourselves.

At MPC, we think this teaching of Jesus sums up the heart of Christianity. We strive to love God and other people with every fiber of our being. We believe that to love God most fully, we need the support, encouragement, and insights of other people who also seek to follow Jesus. At MPC, we worship, practice spiritual formation, and serve together.

We are a loving Christian community that strives to equip ourselves and others for service, even as we seek to meet the spiritual and physical needs of the greater community through generous acts of hospitality and uncommon compassion. We believe that all people are created in the image of God as beloved children of God, and all are called to participate in God’s redemptive plan for the world.

If you would like to get involved in any programs and projects, contact Sue Kamerzel who will put you in touch with the appropriate person.
