"Peace at Home...then in the World"

The Betty Griffin Center provides services of hope and healing for victims of domestic and sexual assault in St. Johns County.
It provides a safe space for women and children escaping violence in their homes.

The vision of the Betty Griffin Center is “Peace at Home…then in the World.”

Recently, our MPC Outreach Committee refurbished a room at the  Betty Griffin Center
that was in need of attention.

Our prayer is that being in a clean, furnished, and warm space will help bring peace and comfort to families who are survivors of domestic assault.  It’s a privilege to care for people in our county who are staying at the Betty Griffin Center.

Some of the leaders of our MPC outreach ministries were

able to have a comprehensive tour of the Betty Griffin living spaces.  This was helpful in being able to identify how to most effectively serve and meet the needs of the center.

Eric Maunz is the Chairperson of the Betty Griffin Center for our Outreach Committee.

Jeff Vick serves as the Chairperson for the Saw and Sew Ministry and Wendy Vick serves as the Chairperson for Sew and Sow.
