Hosannas and Joy on Palm Sunday
There is something uniquely powerful about Palm Sunday through the voices of children.
This year, our Children’s Choir helped lead us into worship in a way that felt both joyful and deeply meaningful. With palms waving and voices lifted high, they reminded us of the crowd that welcomed Jesus into Jerusalem—full of hope, excitement, and praise.
As they sang, it was more than just beautiful music. It was an offering. A witness. A glimpse of faith expressed with sincerity and joy.
Children have a way of cutting through distraction and bringing us back to what matters most. Their voices carried a kind of honesty that invited all of us to join in the story—to remember that Palm Sunday is not just something we observe, but something we enter into together.
We are so grateful for the time, energy, and heart that these children (and their leaders!) pour into choir week after week. Their presence in worship is a gift to our whole church family.
As we have continued beyond Holy Week, their songs stay with us—echoing the ancient words of praise:
“Hosanna! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!” (Mark 11:9)
And may we carry that same joy and faith with us in the days ahead.
