“Everyone was Grinning" at VBS
One day during VBS, I received a text message from a woman in our community who had brought her granddaughter to VBS at Memorial for the first time.
The grandmother told me that every morning when she did drop off, she couldn’t believe how the volunteers were all grinning and looking so happy to be there.
We are so grateful for our Youth and Adult Volunteer Leaders!
There’s something about bringing children together with youth and adult volunteers for a concentrated amount of time together at the church.
Similar to the grandmother, many people commented to me about the joy that seemed contagious. One couldn’t help but see the Holy Spirit at work—making God’s love in Jesus palpable and noticeable.
