Sunday, August 17th, was a beautiful picture of life at Memorial.  We gathered for Children, Youth, and APEX Sunday School Kickoff, our Back-to-School Blessing in worship, and the start of a new year in Youth Ministry. 

In worship, we prayed for students, teachers, and school staff as they begin a new year, asking God’s blessing on all the places of learning in our community. The Spirit was present as we lifted up our children and youth, surrounding them with love and prayer.

We were especially grateful to welcome new families and faces who joined us for the first time. Every new voice and presence adds to the richness of our community, reminding us that we are stronger when we walk in faith together.

The joy of this Sunday is not only about what took place in one morning—it is about what God is building among us: a community of faith where people of all ages are welcomed, encouraged, and sent out to live as disciples of Jesus Christ.
