Our MPC high school ski trip to Beech Mountain, North Carolina was filled with snowy slopes, laughter, tired legs, and unforgettable moments. Some students arrived confident, others nervous, but everyone showed courage by trying something new and supporting one another along the way.

On the mountain, we were reminded that God isn’t only present in familiar or quiet places. God is with us in chairlift conversations, first attempts, falls and recoveries, and the joy of small victories. Skiing taught us about trust, perseverance, and community—leaning forward even when it’s hard and getting back up when we fall.

More than a ski trip, this was a reminder that every adventure can be holy ground.

Wherever we go, God goes with us—and we never travel alone.
