FAQs & More
At MPC, we are actively striving to cultivate unity, oneness, and togetherness. We believe these things are important, beautiful, and holy. Join us online or in person; experience what God is doing in our midst.
Each Sunday at 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
Communion is served each week at the 8:30 a.m. service and monthly at the 11:00 a.m. service.
On Sunday mornings at MPC, you can expect to meet people striving to live out our church vision: “MPC will embody Jesus’ all-encompassing hospitality.” You will find a church that places great value on all people.
As a church in a beach town, you will find people dressed in both casual and formal clothes. The culture of MPC is as varied as its members. MPC is intergenerational, which is something we value.
Upon entering the sanctuary, you will be greeted by an usher, given a bulletin (a road map for the service), and have any questions answered. Prior to the prelude, you will find people chatting and catching up with one another. Though we are not a formal congregation, our worship services are traditional in style. They consist of music, prayer, scripture reading, preaching and communion. Sunday worship typically lasts 50 minutes.
Between Sunday morning services, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Sunday School classes are offered for children, teenagers, and adults. Enjoy a meal prepared by our wonderful Culinary Director in our café, located in Fellowship Hall, which is next to the sanctuary. After the 11:00 a.m. service, our café is open for gathering and outstanding meals.
For families with little ones, the MPC Nursery is available during both services as well as during Sunday School. Infants, toddlers, and preschool age children are cared for by loving nursery staff who have received background checks and been trained in the MPC Child and Youth Safety Policy.
In addition to the MPC lot and street parking, you may park in the Flagler College Lewis Hall parking lots and Markland House lot.
The Lewis lots are accessed via the Valencia Street and Carrera Street entrances; the Markland House lot is accessed via Markland Place.
These lots are only available to Memorial on Sunday mornings during normal worship times.
Yes. Handicap parking is located directly in front of the sanctuary and a ramp can be found at the north entrance.
For families with little ones, the MPC Nursery is available for all services and is staffed by loving professionals. Open during both services, as well as during the Sunday School hour, infants, toddlers, and preschoolers are welcome. Children are more than welcome to stay in worship as well!
We celebrate Communion each week at the 8:30 a.m. service and on the first Sunday of the month at the 11:00 a.m. service. If you are a professing Christian (of whatever tradition), you are welcome at Christ’s Table.
Enjoy a free, self-guided tour of the church on Fridays from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Sundays 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. No need to make reservations.

Because the congregation takes vows to help nurture children in the Christian faith, we require that parents be members of the church. However, we regularly receive parents as members and baptize their children in the same service. It’s a special experience!
