Thank You, Adults, for Making Trunk or Treat a Success!
On Sunday, October 30th, children and their families gathered at MPC for an evening of fun and fellowship.
The special part is that we didn’t just have kids from Memorial. We were also able to host children from our church preschool (PDS) as well as families staying at St. Francis House and the Homeless Coalition.
Because of the participation of many of the adults in our church, this event was an awesome evening of being with church family and creating memories.
Whether you sat in a lawn chair on the sidewalk, created a bowling game for the parking lot, or decorated the trunk of your vehicle, please know that your support was a real gift. We worship a God who created us to be connected and to play!
Also, the kids got TONS of sugar, so we’re pretty sure they’d consider it a success as well.
"Sevilla Street was blocked off and dozens of children and adults milled about in costumes, laughter filling the air. I walked along in the crowd and could honestly see God...even in the midst of Star Wars figures and ballerinas."
